The ever-charismatic Myrtle Brown has been singing around Portland since 1968, with three tours overseas, and touring throughout the country. As the lead vocalist of Executive Groove, her voice is a sweet mixture of heartfelt blues, and soulful jazz, delivered in her own upbeat and entertainment style. Blessed with “The Gift,” she sings Gospel, Blues, R&B, Jazz Standards, and anything else she wants, and how she wants to sing it. Myrtle is a heartfelt loving person and shares her love with each audience member with every song.

Silky Mayer is a Veteran Pro Musician, who has toured internationally and gives the Portland music scene his unique soulful styling to Originals, Smooth Rock, Latin tunes, and Jazz covers. In addition to being Executive Groove’s guitarist and vocalist, Silky performs with the Royal Blu Band, The Denominators, The Continentals, and Swirls of Jupiter. He has also performed with Portland’s Blues legend, Curtis Salgado, and as a frequent guest artist with Fenix Rising.

Hailing from Mississippi Fenix Sanders has taken his gospel roots and smooth jazz sax combining them into something you simply must experience. He has toured and has had the honor of playing with several notable national acts. Moved to Oregon in the early ’90s and formed the Fenix Rising Band, a 7-piece R/B - Funk Band reinventing his sound. Fenix’s smooth vocals and sax work are the feature that ties the entire tone and effect together. The combination captures the audience’s attention and interest. Dancers are quickly out on the dance floor. Positively Entertainment!
