Conjunto Alegre, founded by Aquiles Montas in 1987, has been a pioneering force in introducing Caribbean music to Portland, Oregon. The band showcases a diverse range of styles including Merengue, Salsa, Bachata, Cumbia and more. With a lineup of talented musicians and a repertoire spanning various Latin American countries, the band continues to captivate audiences with their energetic performances and commitment to promoting Latin music and culture.
