CJ Mickens

CJ Mickens discovered his passion for music at the Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts and began performing regularly due to his upbringing in a church-oriented family. After moving to the Pacific Northwest at 15, he excelled in the NAACP ACTSO Music Program, winning gold medals and performing in various cities. After appearances on American Idol and 'Showtime at the Apollo', CJ redirected his focus to inspiring others, emphasizing inclusivity and love, winning Portland Idol and achieving success with his a cappella group, Rezonate.
