Chef Michael Symon
Michael Symon - Since being named a Best New Chef by Food & Wine magazine in 1998, Michael and his restaurants have been awarded numerous honors: in 2000 Gourmet magazine chose Lola as one of “America’s Best Restaurants;” and it has been named Cleveland’s Best Restaurant on 18 occasions. In 2010, Michael was the first chef ever to host the annual Farm Aid benefit concert; Bon Appetit and Food & Wine magazines included B Spot on their list of “Top 10 Best Burger Joints;” B Spot has also won the People’s Choice Award at the SoBe Wine & Food Festival on five occasions. In 2009, Michael earned The James Beard Foundation Award for Best Chef: Great Lakes and the Detroit Free Press named Roast “Restaurant of the Year.” He also shares his exuberant, approachable cooking style and infectious laugh with viewers as an Iron Chef on the Food Network, Burgers, Brew & ‘Que and as ABC’s resident chef. He is also a former co-host of the Emmy-winning TV show, The Chew. Michael is the author of six award winning cookbooks, four of which have landed on The New York Times Best Seller list.
Chef Kevin Bludso
Kevin Bludso is a chef, television personality, author, James Beard Award Nominee, and two-time Steve Harvey Hoodie Award Winner.
In 2008, he opened Bludso’s BBQ, his small takeout BBQ stand in Compton, California. It has since grown into an international empire, with a flagship restaurant, Bludso’s Bar & Que, in Hollywood, a concession stand at the LAFC Soccer Stadium, a location in Proud Bird by LAX, and a sprawling restaurant and bar called San Antone by Bludso’s BBQ in the Crown Casino in Melbourne, Australia.
He is the judge on the hit Netflix BBQ competition show The American BBQ Showdown, and has multiple television appearances on shows like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Bong Appetit, and as a recurring guest judge on Bar Rescue. He is a James Beard Award nominee, and his first cookbook, The Bludso’s Family Cookbook: BBQ Soul Food and Family, From Compton to Corsicana, has gained national recognition as one of 2022 best cookbooks from the New York Times and the Los Angeles times. Jet Tila is a chef, culinary anthropologist, entrepreneur, and Food Network star. Rocco DiSpirito is a healthy lifestyle crusader, James Beard award-winning chef, and highly acclaimed author of thirteen books, including five New York Times bestsellers. Chef Christina Fitzgerald
Born and raised in St. Louis, Christina discovered her passion for the culinary arts at an early age. She graduated from culinary school at the top of her class and proudly served as the captain of the culinary competition team (ACF, American Culinary Federation), winning many competitions along the way. Her success encouraged her to audition for Season 11 of Food Network Star, where she was honored to be cast. Post-show, Christina was introduced to the BBQ world and the rest is history! Christina joined forces with the St. Louis Sugarfire BBQ brand, and opened Hi-Pointe Drive-In in the winter of 2016. Since, Hi-Pointe has received national acclaim and was named Best Burger in Missouri by the Riverfront Times in 2018. A renowned TV cooking show host, photojournalist, and author of 16 barbecue/ grilling cookbooks, Rick Browne was the creator, host, and executive producer of public television’s popular Barbecue America TV series, that was aired on more than 230 stations nationwide for seven seasons. He also conceived of and hosted Ready, Aim... Grill, a cooking class featuring wild game, on the Outdoor Channel for two seasons. Currently he is the Master Class instructor for cavetools.com and their Grill Master University website. Chef Stan Hays
Stan Hays is the CEO and co-founder of Operation BBQ Relief. A seasoned and accomplished competitor on the barbecue circuit, Hays and fellow cofounder Will Cleaver launched Operation BBQ Relief when a tornado swept through Joplin, Missouri, in 2011. Hays’s passion for barbecue and assisting those in distress culminated in creating Operation BBQ Relief, which has served over 9 million meals in 30 states. In 2017, Hays was recognized as a “CNN Hero” for his work with Operation BBQ Relief. Hays has participated in more than 35 sanctioned barbecue contests, with two grand champion awards, four reserve champions, and several top 10 finishes. He was runner-up in the 2015 season of Chopped: Grill Masters on Food Network and in 2019 won Food Network Canada’s Firemasters. Hays is also a cookbook author. He co-authored a cookbook called Operation BBQ in 2019 and has a new cookbook he co-authored with Mike Golic, Sr called "Grilling with Golic and Hays" that will be released in mid May 2022.
Chef Damaris Phillips
Damaris Phillips is a celebrity chef and TV Personality known for her modern twists on Southern
and Classic Comfort Foods. After formal culinary training, Damaris continued her education in
restaurant kitchen from New York to Seattle, Kentucky to Louisiana working under acclaimed
chefs and restauranteurs to hone her skills.
In 2010 Damaris began teaching in the Culinary Arts department of Jefferson Community and

Chef Clark, a southern California native began cooking at the age of 12. Clark’s parents and grandparents are natives from New Olean’s and the South. It was her grandmother’s Creole food cooking that initiated her enthusiasm. “When I was in kindergarten, I remember going to my granny’s business after school; where I sat and watched her prepare lunch and dinner for her customer’s.” Later in life Chef Clark, meshed her Grandmother’s southern “old” school style with my own and developed her own signature brand.
