Kris Deelane is making a loud noise in the Portland Rock scene. Both as a solo artist, and with her nine piece soul band, The Hurt, she is amping up her performances in and around Portland and the Pacific Northwest. A multi-instrumentalist, Kris is true road warrior with years of solid touring experience. From The Alberta Rose Theatre to The Doug Fir, McMenamin’s Edgefield to Al’s Den and the Crystal, she and the band are everywhere. Kris Deelane has performed at Oregon Country Fair, What The Festival, High Sierra, Dixie Festival, and also opened for 3 Dog Night, and Martha Davis and the Motels.

Her regional credits include Morgan Geer (Drunken Prayer), Sally Ford (Sally Ford and The Sound Outside) and Michael Dean Damron (I Can Lick Any SOB In The House). As a key figure in Portland’s Next Waltz (a tribute to The Band’s final show at San Francisco’s Winterland Ballroom in 1976, and filmed by Martin Scorsese) she has graced local stages with the likes of Jerry Joseph and the Jackmormons, Jenny Conlee‐Drizos (Decemberists/Black Prairie), David Jacob‐Strain, Ural Thomas (Ural Thomas and The Pain), Joe McMurrian, Christopher Worth (Worth/NIAYH), Lewi Longmire, Taylor Kingman, and Holcomb Waller to name but a few.
